For over 20 years, Dr. Rappaport has continued to actively treat the full range of medical problems as well as geriatric mental health issues in the hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility, and clinic. He has been principal investigator for more than 40 clinical research studies in Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, depression, pain, osteoarthritis, insomnia, hypertension, urinary incontinence, and psychosis. His papers have been published in peer-reviewed journals. For over a decade, he has served on a national ethical review board for clinical trials. Dr. Rappaport has played a leadership role in aging and is a past president of the Indiana Geriatrics Society.
